General Admission - Earth Celebration Day

DATE: Saturday 4/25/26   TIME: 10:00am - 5:00pm

We look forward to welcoming you to Heritage Museums & Gardens for the 2026 season!

From 10-2, join us for a fun-filled Earth Day celebration, complete with some environmentally-friendly fun, on the opening day of Heritage’s 57th season!

  • Explore Heritage’s commitment to sustainability through a self-guided tour highlighting green initiatives across the gardens and grounds
  • Learn how Massachusetts Cranberry Growers use sustainable practices and taste the iconic local fruit
  • Discover the beauty of reuse by making a mixed-media collage card using recycled and found materials with Nothing is Wasted artist, Melanie McMullin. Add your creation to a community art installation or take it home.
  • Make your own compostable pot and plant a seed to take home
  • Put your recycling skills to the test with a recycling relay
  • Learn about invasive species from the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources with take-home crafts, fact sheets, insect displays and more!
  • Enjoy lawn games, giant building blocks, and other family-friendly activities

All activities are free with museum admission or membership. No advance registration required.
