Join ecological landscape designer and noted speaker Marie Chieppo to explore how to create a beautiful and ecologically healthy yard that both we and nature will love. Marie shares how we can decrease maintenance efforts on our properties by reducing or replacing a turf lawn, discussing organic-based turf removal options that do not negatively impact the micro-organisms in the soil or create compaction. She will also introduce multiple options for native plants that enrich a four season palette with a variety of colors, sizes, textures, and bloom times to create an oasis for wildlife that we can enjoy for years to come. Along the way, we will draw inspiration from case studies that showcase different plant palettes and planting styles.
