Celebrate The Highland Street Foundation's August Adventures with us at Heritage! Today ONLY free admission is available for all visitors.

In partnership with the Highland Street Foundation, Heritage Museums & Gardens will offer free admission on Tuesday, August 26 as part of the August Adventures program.

Returning in 2025, this popular program sponsored by the Highland Street Foundation provides free access to new and old partner organizations, highlighting the geographical and cultural diversity of the Massachusetts arts and culture community. It features 31 days of 100% free admission to 31 venues in Massachusetts. 

Ticketing Information

Online ticket reservations are strongly encouraged, and allow for quick and easy entry. All tickets are date specific and are valid for entry any time between 10 am-4:30 pm. Tickets are non-refundable.

• The Clarissa S. Nye Visitor Center, with orientation information and staff assistance
• The gardens, featuring collections of rhododendrons, hydrangeas, daylilies, and more (seasonal)
• Hidden Hollow, an outdoor discovery area
• The Special Exhibitions Gallery, featuring the Bountiful Bogs: The Massachusetts Cranberry Story exhibit
• The J.K. Lilly III Automobile Gallery, featuring the From Carriage to Classic: How Automobiles Transformed America exhibit featuring the 1942 Willys MB Jeep
• The American Art & Carousel Gallery, featuring the Heritage Highlights exhibit and rides on the 1908 Looff carousel
• The outdoor art exhibit David Rogers’ Big Bugs (opening May 31)
• Wampanoag Stories exhibit featuring a wetu, Three Sisters Garden, and mush8n
• Outdoor features such as the McGraw Family Garden of the Senses, the Flume Fountain, the Hart Family Maze Garden, the labyrinth, walking trails, and more
